The electric flow switches are used to set or break an electric contact in automation installations when reaching a limit of the flow speed of a fluid through a pipe.
The electric flow switches are manufactured in two constructive types:
1. electric flow switches with stainless steel bellows
2. electric flow switches with magnetic transmission with separation by diamagnetic wall for hazardous area:
For both constructive types, connection within the electrical scheme shall be made by cable having minumum section of 1,5 mm², approved for usage in explosive. Full diameter of the cable shall be between 8 and 14 mm, according to the inside diameter of the jig bushing.
